DEFINITION
Marriage immigration fraud is defined as the act of marrying an individual with the sole purpose of immigrating to or obtaining permanent status in his or her country of residence and lying about the true purpose of the marriage, i.e. pretending to be in love with him or her.

We are a unified group of American men and women that have been victimized by foreign spouses that have circumvented the American immigration system.
VOICE OF AMERICAN IMMIGRATION FRAUD VICTIMS is not a group that is anti-women or anti-immigrants. In fact, some of are members ARE immigrants and women that have taken on leadership roles within our group. Our purpose is not to get VAWA overturned. We are simply trying to bring national attention to how VAWA laws are used within the immigration system to deny an American spouse a fair opportunity to present a defense to the USCIS when an allegation of abuse is made by a foreign spouse, whether it be a man or a woman.
We are looking for other victims so that we can meaningfully challenge these unjust laws that we know have harmed so many. Will you join us?

Per the 2006 GAO Report: Immigration Benefits, a USCIS attorney stated that the provision of INA(Immigration and Nationality Act) that pertains to marriage fraud is rarely used because, due to the significant commitment of resources necessary to establish a finding of fraud, enforcing it might not be cost-effective.
